Scott Olson to Miss Next Start; Top Prospect Norris Concussed

MLB.coms Bill Ladson reported(via his Twitter) that Nationals Lefty Scott Olson will miss his next start with shoulder inflammation. He left last nights start after just 3.0 innings and, as Rob Dibble noted on the telecast, looked like he couldn’t throw his slider. In more injury news, Nationals top catching prospect Derek Norris was hit in the head with a fastball Friday night while playing for Single A Potomac. He was motionless on the field for 10mins and hospitalized last night, however it appears that he’s okay and will miss about a week.
