As you may have noticed, things around here haven’t been operating under the smoothest fashion over the past few days. Fortunately those concerns have simply been a technical concern, rather than an issue of another kind. Also fortunate, the end of these concerns appears to be within sight.
Over the past few weeks all of the sites within the FanSided Network have been undergoing a number of changes. First, we unveiled our new site layout – which you’ve hopefully been enjoying here at DoD for the past few weeks. At this point nearly all of the FanSided MLB sites have upgraded to the layout and so far, the feedback has been nothing but positive.
The second step of our upgrade process has to do with moving all of the sites to a new set of servers. As traffic increases across the network, our old servers just simply couldn’t handle the demand. These upgrades will make the sites more accessible and more reliable for you, our readers. These upgrades have caused a few hiccups along the way which hopefully will be completely ironed out within the next 24-48 hours. If you see any major concerns, please shoot us an email, [email protected]. In the mean time, bear with us. We appreciate all of your patience.
