Baseball America Names Three Washington Nationals On Top 100 Prospect List

Baseball America announced its much anticipated top 100 prospects rankings today and named three Washington Nationals to the list. Anthony Rendon was the top National at #30, Lucas Giolito was next at #67 and Brian Goodwin at #70.

Not really any surprises as those are widely thought to be the Nationals top three prospects, including here at District on Deck.

The big surprise could be that all three were thought to be good enough to reach the top 100 in baseball but BA seems to be higher on Giolito than most considering he has yet to throw a professional pitch.

Of note in the  National League East, the Miami Marlins and New York Mets have two prospects each in the top 25. Miami has four others in the top 100. The Mets have one. The Atlanta Braves have two in the top 100 as do the Philadelphia Phillies.
