A home game today for the Washington Nationals which means that we get a regular lineup for the game today against the Atlanta Braves.

Ryan Zimmerman continues at DH as he gets his arm back into shape on side sessions and Kurt Suzuki is back behind the plate. The big story is Stephen Strasburg continuing his work for the start of the season. He has been at times unhittable, at times stung for runs but that is to be expected as he gets set for his season.

For Atlanta, Paul Maholm will be starting as he tries to secure a place in the rotation and will try to keep it even after Brandon Beachy returns from injury. Maholm was acquired mid-season last year from the Chicago Cubs and as of right now, is expected to be the odd-man out of the rotation. His work the first few months of the season can change that.

Offensively for the Braves, it is a pretty usual Spring Training visitor’s lineup with only the Upton brothers and Juan Francisco expected to start Opening Day. The Braves do have a couple of interesting names in Tyler Pastornicky and Christian Bethancourt  starting today. Pastornicky is likely the backup to Andrelton Simmons who is in the World Baseball Classic with the Netherlands.

Game time is 1:05 in Viera and will be available on radio.
