Game Thread: April 4 | Miami Marlins (0-2) @ Washington Nationals (2-0)

Jordan Zimmermann takes the mound in his first start of the year, facing Miami’s Wade LeBlanc. LeBlanc was mainly a reliever last year, posting a 3.67 ERA in 24 appearances, only nine of which were starts. Zimmermann had a 2.94 ERA in nearly 200 innings last year, his first after being limited to 160 in 2011 as a part of his recovery from Tommy Johnsurgery. The Nats are looking to sweep the season-opening series, having not yet allowed a run, while Miami tries to find some offensive footing after having had some decent pitching success.
