Lineups: Nats Gun For Sweep Of Tigers

After last night’s stellar win, the Nationals will look to win their sixth of seven by completing the sweep of this two-game series against the Detroit Tigers in DC. On the bump for the Nats will be Dan Haren, whose stats are currently unimpressive at 3-3 and a 5.01 ERA. However, Haren’s last start was a beauty, as he allowed just one run in eight innings against a potent Atlanta Braves offense. Hopefully he can pitch to his competition again, as the Tigers’ offense is fifth in runs scored and first in batting average. His Tigers counterpart will be Doug Fister (4-0, 2.48). The Tigers are 5-1 in Fister’s six starts to date, but lost the only game in which he did not allow any earned runs. In his last start, he allowed three runs (two earned) against the Astros in six innings. Here are this afternoon’s lineups:
