Lineups: Nats Aim To Clinch Series Win In Atlanta

After last night’s harrowing but thrilling win over the Braves, the Nationals will look to cut even further into their division deficit by winning game two of three in this series. Bryce Harper has been officially placed on the DL and is not eligible to return until June 11th, but Jayson Werth is currently rehabbing at High A Potomac and could return to the lineup soon. Pitching tonight for the Nats will be Gio Gonzalez (3-3, 3.90), who will try to rebound from his mediocre previous outing against the Orioles, in which he allowed four runs in 5.2 IP. His opponent will be Tim Hudson (4-4, 5.37), who had an even worse time in his last start, allowing six runs in six innings. However, Hudson has dominated the Nats this year, throwing a total of 14 innings and allowing just two runs. Meanwhile, Gonzalez has allowed 12 runs in nine innings against the Braves this year.
