After being designated for assignment earlier this week, we know more about the fates of relievers Zach Duke and Henry Rodriguez.

Duke, who had an 8.71 ERA this season, has been released. He will likely latch on with another team on a minor league deal, but it is not yet known which teams might have interest. The Nationals inked him to a $700,000 major league deal this offseason after he had a 1.32 ERA in 13.2 relief innings last year.

Rodriguez has not been released yet. The fireballer with hardly any control could pique the interest of some team that still sees potential in him, and the fact that a move has not yet been made regarding him means the Nationals may be talking trade. It is not yet known what teams, if any, have interest in him.
