Detwiler And Offense Look To Return To Form

After being shut out last night for the ninth time this season, the Nats’ offense will be itching to reassert themselves and get back some confidence tonight. The Nats’ starting pitcher, Ross Detwiler, would also like to reestablish his formerly excellent form. He had a 2.76 ERA before going on the disabled list with an oblique strain, but has a 7.32 ERA in four starts since returning and his record has dropped to 2-6. His season ERA has skyrocketed to 4.13, and he will face a considerably more potent Brewers lineup than the one that scored four runs yesterday without Jean Segura, Carlos Gomez, and Jonathan Lucroy. The Nats will look to make their offensive mark against Kyle Lohse (3-6, 3.63), who went just 1.2 innings in his last start due to a rain delay. Here are tonight’s lineups:
