Nats Try To Avoid Dropping Three Straight Against Lee

After losing the first two games of this series, the Nationals have put themselves in a bit of hot water. Their deficit in the division behind Atlanta has grown two games, and now the Nats face Phillies ace and All-Star Cliff Lee (10-2, 2.73). Lee is the third straight Philadelphia lefty the Nats will face, and they scored just one run in 18 innings against the decidedly worse John Lannan and Cole Hamels. Their hopes will rest on Gio Gonzalez(6-3, 3.14), who has won three straight starts. Here are tonight’s lineups:
