After a double header split Friday night that was capped off by another walkoff home run, the Nationals look to secure at least a tie in the four game series versus the Mets. Dan Haren (4-11) looks to collect his first victory in more than a month versus right hander Dillon Gee(7-7). Gee is 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA in three starts versus Washington in 2013, so the Nationals will look to end his dominance in DC. Bryce Harper will make his return to the lineup after sitting out game 2 last night because of his balky left knee. For the Mets, Eric Young Jr will also make his first appearance since getting injured on the same play that resulted in Tim Hudson‘s fracturing of his ankle.
Hi everyone!! I'm currently a senior at Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC, and I write for and am the editor for the sports section of the Horizon, the school paper, and I hope to continue writing in college. On the baseball side of things, I've been a huge fan of the game most of my life and accept any chance I can get to take in a game. I have supported the Nationals for a while now and enjoyed seeing their rise to power in 2012. Go Nats!
