Nationals Look To Sweep Braves After Emotional Double Header Victory

The Nationals have a chance tonight to do something they haven’t done since 2012; sweep the Braves. The Nationals sure hope that they get to a time of the year that they got to in 2012. The Nationals, still four and a half games out of a wild card spot, have won nine of their last ten and have grabbed the attention of the baseball world in their quest for a historic end of the season. Tonight, the Nationals will send swing man Ross Ohlendorf (4-0) out to the bump against Atlanta rookie Alex Wood (3-3). Wood has been one of Atlanta’s best pitchers since his call up into the big league rotation, while Ross Ohlendorf has reinvented himself and revitalized his career in DC.
