Washington Nationals: Face of the Franchise

MLB Network is back with the “Face of the Franchise” so I thought I would ask the fans who they think is the face of the Washington Nationals.

There are plenty of good choices, with the obvious ones being Stephen Strasburg, Bryce Harper and Ian Desmond.

Reds first baseman Joey Votto won the last “Face of the MLB” as 1.6 Million people voted. Over 700,000 voted in the final round. Votto went on to beat Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

We will be sending out a tweet the morning of January 8th of the player that you choose. That is the date the Nationals player will be chosen for the competition. If we can get everyone to RETWEET that tweet, we can get who the fans of this site want to represent the Nats in this competition.

If you would please vote in the following poll, we can help get one National player into the competition and give him a chance to win the Face of the MLB!

Ian Desmond. He is quickly becoming to the Nationals what Derek Jeter has been to the Yankees…a natural team leader who conducts himself with class on the field and off and always plays the game the right way.
