Preview: Nationals vs. Marlins

The Washington Nationals will take on yet another division foe at Space Coast Stadium, as they welcome the Miami Marlins. Doug Fister will make his Nationals debut as he tries to keep the trend that Nationals starting pitchers have had this spring, with both Taylor Jordan and Jordan Zimmermann pitching two scoreless innings on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Like Jordan and Zimmermann before him, Fister is expected to go two innings, before turning the ball over to a Nationals bullpen that gave up 15 runs to the Braves Saturday afternoon. Also making his Grapefruit League debut for the Nationals is outfielder Jayson Werth, who is expected to play right field and bat  third.

The Marlins, who are also undefeated thus far this spring, will counter with left-handed pitcher Brad Hand. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m., and the game will air live on MASN and MLB TV.
