Preview: Nationals vs. Braves

The Washington Nationals will continue their Grapefruit League schedule today, as they visit the Atlanta Braves in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It’ll be the second meeting of the spring between these two clubs and hopefully it’ll be a slightly less ridiculous game than the 31-run slugfest they played last Saturday (which the Nationals won, by the way).

Stephen Strasburg gets the start for the Nationals and he’ll likely throw two innings in his 2014 Grapefruit League debut. Atlanta will counter with Kris Medlen, who will try to get the Braves their first win of the spring. Again, these games mean absolutely nothing. But there’s no reason we can’t be happy about the Braves being 0-6 when the Nationals are 3-1…

First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and the game will not air on TV.
