Preview: Nats vs. Mets

The Washington Nationals continue their final stretch of Grapefruit League games Sunday afternoon as they take on the New York Mets in Port St. Lucie, Fla. With opening day just over a week away, both of these clubs will bring a lineup of mostly regulars to the game in what will be a preview of the season’s opening series in Citi Field, which begins eight days from today.

Tanner Roark will get the start for the Nationals as he continues his push for the fifth spot in the rotation. Roark will likely get one more start after today and we should know more about what his role on the team will be later this week. The Mets will counter with right-hander Jenrry Mejia.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. EST and the game will air live on MLB.TV.

Here are the lineups for today’s game:

Carroll 2B

Harper LF

Werth RF

Zimmerman 3B

LaRoche 1B

Desmond SS

Lobaton C

McLouth CF

Roark P
