Nationals Look to Get Back on Track Against Marlins

After a painful sweep at the hands of the Atlanta Braves, the Washington Nationals will try to get their early-April magic back on track against the Miami Marlins on the road. The Nationals’ record dropped to 7-5 over the weekend and the team would benefit greatly from a strong series against a team that is riding a seven-game losing streak.
Fortunately for the Nationals, they will have all the right pieces in place to beat up on the Marlins just as they did last week. Washington will send two of its “big three” to the mound over the course of the three-game series with Jordan Zimmermann taking the mound tonight and Stephen Strasburg tomorrow.
On Wednesday the Nationals will send right-hander Tanner Roark against Marlins superstar Jose Fernandez, who will face the Nationals for the first time this season. Other than Fernandez, the Nationals will face left-hander Brad Hand and right-hander Tom Koehler on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
