As of Wednesday night, Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon stood in fourth place in the National League Final Vote race for the final spot on the All-Star roster. Nationals fans have until 4 p.m. ET to help send Rendon to the Midsummer Classic and avoid a sixth consecutive Final Vote loss for the Nationals.

Rendon, 24, is batting .284 with 13 home runs this season and has driven in 52 runs. Rendon has not only been arguably the most important hitter in an inconsistent Nationals lineup, but he has also played Gold Glove-caliber defense all year at third and second base.

If Rendon were to win the Final Vote race, he would join Jordan Zimmermann as the Nationals’ representatives at the Midsummer Classic, which will be held at Target Field in Minnesota July 15.

Fans can vote via the online ballot or by texting “N3” to 89269. As of 10 a.m. ET today, fans will also be able to vote via Twitter by using the hashtag “#VoteRendon.”

Rendon has been a key player for the Nationals this season and will like play a major role for the team down the stretch. There are many Nationals players who could’ve been named All-Stars but, in my opinion, nobody on the team deserves the honor more than Rendon.

There are only a few hours left to vote and Rendon could certainly use some help. So, what are you waiting for? Go #VoteRendon!
