LaRoche,De$mond lead Nats in 5-3 win

Ok Enough is Enough, we are new to this Nats Town but we are not Boston fans. Lets give ourguys some credit tonight as they found a way to win. Lets carry the Mo over to the Mets series and get back to .500 baseball. We clearly should have swept the Marlins, but managed to salvage the last game of the series. Desmond had another excellent night batting in the leadoff spot, and he has responded to the critics. LaRoche hit a bomb in the 11th to put the Nats ahead 5-3 and Sean Burnett closed the door on the fish for the Nationals 2nd win of the season.

John Lannan had a shaky start as he allowed 2 runs in the 1st inning, but managed to pitch out of jams to keep the Nationals in the game. The bullpen took over as Clippard,Storen,Coffey, and Burnett shut down the Marlins until Adam LaRoche blasted a two run home run that would lead to the big win.

Desmond got under Josh Johnson’s skin in the 5th reaching base on a hit and then stealing second. The Nationals exposed the poor Marlins defense by finally taking cuts and putting the ball in play. The Marlins made several errors that gave the Nationals the opportunity to stay in the game. Finally the Nationals took advantage of opportunity and were able to score runs tonight to win there second game of the season.

Lets hope the momentum continues as the Nationals head to New York where they will face RA Dickey and Mr. Met tomorrow. Lets continue the wood shampoo treatment on Mr. Met and work toward getting to .500 for the season. Big win for the Nationals tonight.
