Breaking News: Ryan Zimmerman to the DL, Harper Called Up

The Nationals announced today that injured 3B Ryan Zimmerman will be placed on the DL. His replacement on the active roster will be incredibly hyped teenage phenom Bryce Harper, whose MLB Debut will come this Saturday at Dodger Stadium. As was a concern in the offseason, Harper spent enough time in the minor leagues to ensure that he will not become a free agent until after the 2018 season, but if he does not return to the minors, he will become a Super Two, and eligible for arbitration a year early.
