Baseball Fantography Contest

Ever take a photograph at a baseball game that you’re fond of looking back on? One that brings back a multitude of memories from a time when you were able to sit back and simply enjoy the game you love?

Want to win a book filled with some of these photographs and a ton of anecdotes from across the game’s history?

Of course you do. And here’s how.

Over the past few years that I’ve been writing about this great game of baseball, I’ve received a handful of baseball books in exchange for a review published on my site. It’s one of the nice sporadic perks of running a site such as this one. A few weeks ago I received a copy of Baseball Fantography: A Celebration in Snapshots and Stories from the Fans. The book is filled with photographs, anecdotes, and stories from baseball fans across the country. All of the submissions, however, are from everyday fans just like us. Additional thoughts and my full review of the book can be found here.

Inadvertently I received two copies of the book, which brings me back to the contest I alluded to earlier. I’m giving the second copy away! There are two steps you must take to enter.

1. “Like” our Facebook page.

2. Send an email to districtondeck@gmail.com with a photo of your own from a baseball game. It doesn’t matter what stadium, who you’re with, what you’re doing. Make it something that’s memorable to you. And tell us why.

We’ll take our five favorites, post them on the site, and let you, our readers vote on the final winner. The winner gets a copy of Baseball Fantography absolutely free!

Entries are due in our inbox no later than midnight May 31st.
