J.P. Howell– This one could be an outside shot, but still worth mentioning. Howell had a magnificent year with the Dodgers in 2013, posting a 2.03 ERA in 67 outings. He made $2.85 million last season, and possibly looking for a bigger deal. But if Howell is available at that price, why not? He is an affective lefty reliever and taking a player away from a NL contender. I believe Howell will end up back in LA, but it is worth mentioning his name.
