Oliver Perez– Now, this is a pitcher that has already been rumored to be on the Nationals radar. Oliver Perez spent the last two years in Seattle and pitched very well. In 61 games, Perez finished with a 3.74 ERA, while striking out 74 in 53 innings. The 32 year old made $1.5 million last year. This could be a piece that is a low cost, high reward type of lefty bullpen option. Perez hasn’t made a start since 2010, but he could be a candidate to make a spot start, as well.
