
Today, we conclude our countdown with the top five Washington Nationals games of the 2016 season
On Thanksgiving morning, we began our list of the top ten Washington Nationals games from the 2016 season by looking at games ten through six. Our list began with clutch hits by Jayson Werth and Wilson Ramos, a NL East clincher, a great Opening Day, and a rare defensive accomplishment out on the West Coast.
In our top five, you will find one of the games from this postseason and a few memorable finishes from the regular season, including a historic performance from the eventual National League Cy Young Award winner and a few more walk-offs, including from a player that was on the first part of the top ten game list.
While the season didn’t end as a lot of fans might have hoped it would have, there were still a lot of memories and games to look back on. Some of them might even stick in our minds for years to come.
