While he might not immediately come to mind, former Nats pitcher Edwin Jackson would be perfect for the role of Master of Whispers.

Jackson has played for 13 teams: The Washington Nationals; the Los Angeles Dodgers; the Tampa Bay Devil Rays; the Detroit Tigers; the Arizona Diamondbacks; the Chicago White Sox; the St. Louis Cardinals; the Chicago Cubs; the Atlanta Braves; the Miami Marlins; the San Diego Padres; the Baltimore Orioles; and the Oakland Athletics.

Jackson has been a part of nearly half of the 30 kingdoms. He would make a valuable ally as he has many connections across the realm and would be able to gather information from multiple sources very quickly.

He knows the terrain, and he has been around a long time. Jackson would serve well as Master of Whispers on the small council.
