The 2019 All-Star Game in Cleveland is fast approaching.  The ballots are available, and you can vote for your favorite Nationals.

The Washington Nationals have endured a brutal April and May as a team, but the club still employs some stand out athletes.

Now, you can send them to the All-Star Game!

Yesterday, Major League Baseball announced the new fan voting method for the All-Star Game.

There are now two rounds of voting: The “Primary” round and the “Starters Election.”

The Primary round began yesterday at 2 p.m. ET and ends on June 21 at 4 p.m. ET.  In this round, fans can vote for players at each position in each league as they have done for years.

After the votes are tallied, the top three vote-getters will advance to the “Starters Election” which is exactly as it sounds.  A new round of voting between the top three players will determine who starts the game at each position.

That round will start on Wednesday, June 26, and end the following day.

For now, Nationals fans have the chance to send their favorite Nats to Cleveland for the 2019 All-Star Game.

Here are the Nationals on the ballot:

Regarding players such as Howie Kendrick, Matt Adams, and Kurt Suzuki, they are still eligible for the game, but fans must write their names in when voting.

Fans are currently not allowed to vote on pitchers, as has been the case for many years.
