Billy serves as co-editor of both Yanks Go Yard and Friars On Base. He also contributes the occasional piece to District On Deck and Grading On The Curve, both in the Fansided network, along with his own blog, WestCoastYankees-The Blog.Billy earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in history from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Billy's work has appeared in Baseball Digest, Sport, The Inscriber Digital Magazine, Rant Sports, and Yahoo! among others. Billy has been a fan of the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres since 1981, and the first player he ever met was Graig Nettles in 1985. He is a fantasy baseball and baseball card junkie, and his better half is a non-apologetic member of Red Sox Nation.
