When your dad is from Massachusetts, you grow up a Red Sox fan. That's just the way things go. All that changed when Aaron Boone killed another season for me in 2003. I swore off of the team. I had had enough. Even when they won the Series the following season, I refused to be a hypocrite and celebrate the victory (other than congratulating family). After a three-year sabbatical from having a favorite team, I decided to go all-in with the Nats, coinciding with a move into DC. Haven't looked back since. In Rizzo, I trust.........PS: When I'm not writing about the Washington Nationals, I am probably reviewing a book over at my personal blog.
