    More from District on Deck

Despite their slow start to the season and a 6-7 record, the Rockies needed to see some fight from their team. Although Wednesday’s events may have taken this too literally, they’re still a very dangerous team if they put it all together.

There are doubts around whether their two MVP candidates, Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado will be available all series. Blackmon currently has a quad injury, and Arenado likely has a suspension looming. But with some bright young pitching, they will still be a test for the Nationals this weekend.
